Lars joined Damgaard Company in 2007 with 18 years of experience from auditing and financial management. He has since supplemented his 30+ years of experience with executive programs at INSEAD and CBS.

Lars is involved in from initial investment screenings as well as elaborate review and due diligence and final decisions in tight collaboration with Charlotte Damgaard. Further, Lars handles all formal documents accompanying our investments and ensures compliance. Finally, Lars supports portfolio companies in need of CFO assistance during times of rapid growth.

Charlotte Damgaard, widow after Preben Damgaard, the founder of Damgaard Company has been Chair of Damgaard Company since 2008 and an integrated part of the operations.

Damgaard Company was founded by Preben Damgaard, a pioneer in tech ever since the birth of the industry in the early 1980s until his death in 2022.

With a long career as an entrepreneur and CEO, Preben gained deep and extensive practical experience that he used to leverage in his venture as VC investor, business angel and professional board member. Preben continued to expand and develop his expertise, making him an invaluable business partner for the winners of tomorrow.

Attorney-at-law Jørgen Kjergaard Madsen is Partner in law firm Kromann Reumert. Jørgen specializes in M&A, stock exchange and capital markets regulation, company law, and general commercial law. Jørgen is also Chairman of the Association of Danish Law Firms and has a long-standing involvement in the International Bar Association.
