KOBAJ.com offers a smarter way to buy wine. Through an online marketplace, individuals can co-buy wine directly from the winemaker in partnership with others, thereby gaining access to prices that have previously been reserved for importers and wine merchants only.

KOBAJ.com simultaneously helps winemakers gain direct access to consumers, thereby bypassing traditional wholesale importers and retailers. This has the dual benefit of improving the winemakers’ earnings and reducing the end price, thereby making high quality wine more accessible. KOBAJ.com handles all orders, including payments, fees, insurance and transport from the producer to the customer.

KOBAJ.com was founded in 2018 by Alexander Kidd who piloted his idea on a Facebook group, offering members to co-buy wine and facilitating the transaction with the winemakers. Demand for his service quickly outgrew the initial Facebook setup, and Alexander started building a proper platform.

Damgaard Company joined KOBAJ.com in 2021 when we funded the continued growth of the company and took a seat in the board of directors.
