Formuepleje
Formuepleje is Denmark’s largest privately held asset management firm with an ambition to deliver a competitive long-term yield to their clients. Founded in 1986, Formuepleje’s team of experienced professionals has a long track record of successful wealth management, making them a trusted partner with lasting relationships.
In 2018, Formuepleje acquired Wealth Management, a competing player in the Danish market. Damgaard Company was an investor and client in Wealth Management and continued the engagement as both shareholder and client with Formuepleje after the merger. In 2020, Preben Damgaard joined the board and became a member of the Audit Committee in 2020.
Damgaard Company exited the investment in 2021 when the family-owned conglomerate Lars Larsen Group acquired 41% of the company.
